What is Teen night?

**Please note, Teen Nights have been temporarily placed on hold due to the outbreak of COVID-19.**

A monthly social group between typically developing teens and teens with ASD that contains structured activities to facilitate social interaction and peer relations.

Structured social experiences among typically developing Peer Leaders

• Highly experienced staff

• Structured lesson plans

• Short focused rotating groups

Who is a good fit?

• Teens with ASD between 13-19 years-old

• Functional communicators

• Ability to work in small groups

• Absence of problem behaviors

What is a Peer Leader?

A peer leader is a typically developing teen ages 13-19 years old who participates in the Teen Night sessions. Peer leaders help facilitate social interaction among peers by engaging in activities with the group on a volunteer basis. All peer leaders undergo a brief training to help them support all participants and maintain an inclusive environment.
